Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant with her second child. The news was confirmed by her representative and came to light after she was spotted with a growing baby bump during a recent dinner in Los Angeles.
Lawrence, 34, is married to art gallerist Cooke Maroney, with whom she shares a two-year-old son, Cy. The couple tied the knot in 2019 at Newport, Rhode Island’s Belcourt mansion.
In just a few days, on October 25, the documentary Zurawski v Texas—which she executive produced alongside Hillary Clinton—will debut in major cities like New York and Los Angeles.
This film sheds light on the consequences of Texas’ strict anti-abortion laws. Free screenings are planned in key cities across Texas and other states where abortion is a major issue on the ballot this election.
Another notable project, Bread & Roses, a documentary highlighting the struggles of Afghan women living under Taliban rule, is set to stream on Apple TV+ in late November. Lawrence co-produced this film with Malala Yousafzai.
While Lawrence is well-known for her roles in Silver Linings Playbook and The Hunger Games, she’s now using her production company, Excellent Cadaver, to focus on women’s issues and social causes.
In a 2022 interview, she voiced her frustration over the overturning of Roe v. Wade, saying, “Politics are killing people.”
