Supreme Court Hearing Regarding NEET PG Issues
The registration notice comes shortly after the Supreme Court heard a petition regarding alleged changes to the NEET PG exam pattern just three days before the exam.
The petition was filed against the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), MCC, and the Central Government.
A three-judge bench led by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud addressed the matter, with the next hearing scheduled for September 27.
During the hearing, the Chief Justice expressed concern over the alleged pattern change, acknowledging that such last-minute alterations could cause undue stress for students.
The Centre, however, denied the claim, stating no such changes had occurred. The case will continue to be reviewed on the specified date.
With the Supreme Court’s involvement and counselling dates set, all eyes are on the upcoming seat allotment process.
Candidates are advised to stay updated by visiting the official MCC website frequently for any further notifications or changes.
