Zach Bryan, 28, confirmed on Oct. 22 that he and Brianna Chickenfry (real name Brianna LaPaglia), 25, have ended their relationship.
After the country star’s announcement, Brianna felt “blindsided” and shared plans to take a break from social media to heal privately.
Brianna wrote in her emotional Instagram Stories post, “Hey guys, I’m feeling really blindsided right now. I’m going to hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately.”
She reassured her followers, saying, “I love you guys so much. Thank you for all of your kind words. Remember, you are so loved, and everything’s always going to be okay.”
Before Bryan’s confirmation, Brianna had already sparked breakup rumors when she posted a cryptic message on her Instagram.
The note said, “Eventually you’ll find that life goes on, even if you don’t want it to. The days will pass and the world will move while you ask it to stop.”
Zach responded to the rumors with a heartfelt message, stating, “I respected and loved Brianna with every ounce of my heart. I have had an incredibly hard year personally… I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways.” He asked for privacy for both himself and Brianna during this difficult time.
The couple first met at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May 2023, making their relationship public later that year.
They recently celebrated their one-year anniversary in July 2024, when Zach posted, “Here’s to a year together. Happy anniversary and I love you so much, Brianna.”
