Vidya gives curd to Arman as he’s leaving the house. This is a special way of showing love and good wishes.
Arman, feeling really heavy-hearted, bows down to take Vidya’s blessings. Abhira tries to stay positive and tells Arman, “Don’t worry, Vidya will forgive you soon. You didn’t do anything wrong.” Vidya doesn’t say anything but looks very emotional.
Then, suddenly, Panditji comes in, and everyone is curious about why he’s there. Manisha asks him if he’s there to perform some prayer, but Panditji says he’s been called for the last rites!
This shocked everyone, especially Arman, who thought something bad happened to Kaveri. He rushes to stop Panditji and asks, “What do you mean? Who asked for this?” Everyone is waiting for answers.
Kaveri steps forward and tells Panditji to continue. Arman looks at her confused, and Kaveri says something really shocking.
“These last rites aren’t for a person; they are for this family that’s falling apart.” Vidya and Arman can’t believe what she’s saying.
Vidya asks, “Why are you doing this?” But Kaveri angrily responds, “I’m tired of you making decisions without thinking about anyone else.”
Arman tries to take the blame, but Kaveri stops him and says, “No, Arman. This is about Vidya not valuing this family anymore.” Vidya’s eyes are full of tears, and everyone is really sad.
Abhira jumps in and tries to make things better. She says, “Kaveri, you’re misunderstanding. Arman loves you and this family.”
But Kaveri is really hurt and says she was wrong about Abhira too. “I thought you wanted to be part of this family, but you’re ready to leave so easily.
How can I believe you care?” Kaveri thinks both Arman and Abhira don’t care about the family anymore, and this makes her really upset.
Abhira tries to explain, but Kaveri doesn’t want to hear it. She feels totally betrayed.
Vidya, feeling really hurt by Kaveri’s words, finally speaks. “You think I’m happy with my decisions?” she says, crying. “All I get from this family is pain.”
Kaveri isn’t moved by this and says, “You’re being selfish, Vidya. This family doesn’t revolve around you.”
Then she gives Vidya a big choice: “Either make this family whole again or leave for good.” Vidya is stunned and doesn’t know what to say.
After thinking, she says, “I will stop Arman and Abhira from leaving, but I can’t accept Arman as my son anymore.” Everyone is shocked.
Kaveri shakes her head and says softly, “Even if I’m angry, I would never kick Arman out. Your love for him was never real.” Vidya is left speechless, and it feels like her whole world is falling apart.
Vidya is crying and feeling all alone. “No one values me in this family,” she says, wiping her tears. Rohit and Ruhi try to comfort her. Rohit says, “Mom, we all love you. You’re important to us.” But Vidya doesn’t believe him.
She says, “Arman took away my happiness. He ruined Madhav’s dream of being a grandpa and Kaveri’s dream of being a great-grandma.”
Rohit tries to say something, but Vidya stops him. “You and Ruhi have to carry on this family’s name now,” she says. Rohit and Ruhi look really shocked and don’t know what to say.
Arman is really worried and keeps walking around. “What if Vidya never forgives me?” he says, feeling scared. Abhira tries to calm him down. “Vidya loves you, even if she doesn’t show it now. She will forgive you,” she says confidently.
Arman asks, “You really think so?” Abhira nods and says she will talk to Vidya. Arman feels a little better and decides to go out to get Vidya’s medicine.
Even though things are tough, he still wants to take care of her. Abhira watches him go, hoping to make everything okay.
