Samsung has taken a major step forward with its latest Bixby upgrade, launching the AI-powered voice assistant on the Galaxy W25 series smartphones in China.

Designed with artificial intelligence capabilities, this next-gen Bixby can understand complex natural language commands, making it Samsung’s most advanced voice assistant yet.

With this update, Samsung’s Bixby is now able to handle commands that go beyond simple requests.

For instance, when a user asks, “How do I get there?” Bixby will automatically find the best route to their workplace, factoring in their usual travel patterns.

AI-Powered Features of Bixby

Samsung’s latest Bixby delivers an improved experience by analyzing the context behind commands, enabling it to respond in multiple ways.

The assistant can answer questions with both text and video results, although it doesn’t create videos on its own but finds relevant ones available online.

Bixby can also translate web pages instantly and save its output in Microsoft Office formats, like Word and PowerPoint, making it useful for both work and study.

New Interface for an Easier User Experience

Bixby’s upgraded interface is designed to be clean and easy to navigate. Users can interact with the assistant in a full-screen mode that includes a text input area, so it’s easy to type in commands or questions.

Bixby is now accessible from any screen on the smartphone, providing a seamless experience, whether using text or voice.

Samsung’s AI-driven Bixby is currently available only in China on Galaxy W25 smartphones. There is no announcement yet on when Samsung will release this updated assistant globally.
