Six Elected Unopposed in Belgaum DCC Bank Polls

Belgaum: A total of six people from our panel have been elected unopposed in the prestigious Belgaum DCC Bank elections to be held on October 19, and the bank’s panel leader, Bemul President and MLA Balachandra Jarkiholi, said that the promise of taking the helm of the bank will not be denied.

I had been saying this for two months before the bank elections. This time, we would be at the helm of our own administration. I had been saying with confidence that we would win 12 out of 16 seats. The day is coming when it will come true. By tomorrow, six people from our panel will be elected unopposed. It will be official tomorrow afternoon, he said.

Neelkanth Kappalguddi from Mudalagi taluk constituency, Amarnath Jarkiholi from Gokak taluk constituency, MLA Vishwas Vaidya from Yaragati taluk constituency, Virupaksha Mamani from Savadatti taluk constituency, Rahul Jarkiholi from Belgaum taluk constituency, and Arvind Patil from Khanapur taluk constituency have been elected unopposed. He said that the election officials will announce the unopposed election tomorrow, as tomorrow is the last date for the withdrawal of nominations.

In the ongoing Jeddah-Jeddah elections for a total of 16 seats, we have already won six seats and are only three seats short of getting a majority. The unopposed selection process for Channaraja Hattiholi, who has contested from another constituency, is underway, and there are signs that he will also be elected unopposed. He said that talks are already being held with those who have filed nominations from other constituencies, and the chances of them being fruitful are high.

We are ready for the elections and will win about six seats there as well. This will give us an absolute majority of 12 seats, and we will take the helm of the Belgaum DCC Bank, he expressed confidence.

With the good intention of facilitating the farmers, we have joined the bank and are ready for the election arena. We have formed a panel as non-partisan and are facing this election collectively.

In the next five years, we will run a better administration than ever before. We will provide transparent administration. We will fulfill all the promises made to the farmers. We will protect the interests of the employees. We will neatly handle the responsibility of protecting the bank, which is the proud property of the farmers, said MLA Balachandra Jarkiholi.
