Indonesia’s billionaires have achieved a historic milestone as the collective wealth of the 50 richest individuals in the country climbed to $263 billion in 2024, up from $252 billion last year.

This growth, buoyed by a 3% rise in the benchmark stock index and Indonesia’s economic ambitions under President Prabowo Subianto, has also raised the minimum threshold for inclusion to $1 billion for the first time, up from $940 million in 2023.
