Tom Holland, famous for playing Spider-Man in the MCU, shared that one of his ideas for Spider-Man 4 was turned down by Marvel Studios.
Holland revealed this while chatting on Rich Roll’s podcast, stating that Marvel is using a similar storyline in Captain America: Brave New World.
Marvel President Kevin Feige and other executives rejected the pitch, despite Holland’s enthusiasm.
Holland explained, “I’ll come up with an idea, and they’ll say no, you can’t do that because we’re doing that in the new Captain America movie.”
Though disappointed, Holland found it “really cool” to witness Marvel’s long-term plans for the MCU.
Spider-Man 4 Still Sparks Excitement for Tom Holland
Despite the setback, Tom Holland shared that reading the Spider-Man 4 script with Zendaya sparked excitement.
