Mace, who has hinted at a 2026 South Carolina gubernatorial run, displayed photos of the accused on a large placard and declared that they had earned a “one-way ticket to hell.”

Horrifying Claims of Hidden Videos and Assault

Mace, speaking for nearly an hour, detailed shocking allegations, including:

  • Being physically assaulted by Bryant.
  • Finding over 10,000 videos of incapacitated women being abused.
  • Discovering compromising photos of underage girls on Bryant’s phone.
  • Realizing she had been filmed nude without her consent.
  • Believing she was drugged and raped after blacking out.

During the speech, Mace held up props, including a camera she claimed was used for secret recordings and handcuffs, saying, “If anyone would like to arrest me for standing up for women, here are my wrists.”

Mace Blames South Carolina Attorney General for Inaction

Mace directly criticized South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, accusing him of ignoring clear-cut evidence she provided. According to Mace, law enforcement had been in possession of the material for over a year, yet no action was taken.

“Did South Carolina’s attorney general have any of these predators indicted after being provided clear-cut and dry evidence?” she asked.

Wilson’s office swiftly denied Mace’s claims, stating they had never received any reports or requests for assistance related to the matter. His spokesperson called Mace’s accusations “categorically false and politically motivated.”

Patrick Bryant Responds, Calls Allegations False

Immediately after Mace’s speech, Bryant denied all allegations, calling them false.

“I categorically deny these accusations. I take this matter seriously and will cooperate fully with any necessary legal process to clear my name,” Bryant said.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) later confirmed that it had opened an investigation into one of the men Mace named in December 2023, following contact from U.S. Capitol Police. However, no criminal charges have been filed yet.

Mace’s Supporters Rally Behind Her

Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), and Victoria Spartz (R-IN) showed visible support as Mace spoke.

Mace’s mother and other survivors of sexual abuse were also present in the gallery, wearing red stickers that read “Survivor.” Mace handed similar stickers to her Republican colleagues, who placed them on their chests.

Political Fallout and 2026 Governor’s Race

Mace’s allegations come as she considers running for South Carolina governor in 2026, a race that could potentially pit her against Wilson. Some political analysts believe her speech was aimed at setting the stage for a high-profile battle.

Mace has long positioned herself as a champion for sexual assault survivors, frequently speaking about her past trauma. In 2019, she revealed that she was raped as a teenager and has since used her platform to advocate for stronger protections for women.

What Happens Next?

With the political and legal stakes rising, key questions remain:

  • Will law enforcement take further action based on Mace’s evidence?
  • How will the accusations affect her potential gubernatorial campaign?
  • Will Wilson face backlash over his alleged inaction?
  • Could Bryant and others file a defamation lawsuit against Mace?

For now, Mace stands firm, declaring, These are not allegations. These are facts.”
