On 12th August 2024, what began as a joyous occasion quickly turned into a tense and dramatic event at Sonam’s wedding. Megha, a key character in the unfolding drama, was busy teaching dance steps to Sonam’s family members. The atmosphere was festive, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. However, things took a turn when Sonia informed Megha that Sonam wanted to speak to her.
Megha went to meet Sonam, who asked her to change the song for the wedding performance. Megha agreed and noticed Ranjeeta, another important character, preparing to leave. Curious, Megha asked Ranjeeta where she was going. Ranjeeta revealed that they had a lead on a con man and she was heading to the police station to follow up.
Meanwhile, at the police station, Arjun, a determined officer, was interrogating a victim about the con man’s identity. The victim, unfortunately, did not have a photo of the con man, as he always took pictures on his own phone. Frustrated but focused, Arjun ordered his team to bring in a sketch artist to help identify the suspect.
Back at the wedding, Megha shared with Sonam that her dance partner had run away, leaving her in a bind. Sonam reassured Megha that she had a new partner lined up. Manoj, the new dance partner, arrived and immediately began flirting with Megha. Their banter was interrupted when Sonam’s fiancé, Rajveer, entered the scene. Sonam introduced Rajveer to Manoj, but Megha quickly intervened, stating that Rajveer should not be meeting Sonam before the wedding. Manoj, following Megha’s lead, took Rajveer away to keep him occupied.
In the midst of the preparations, Megha found a phone and wondered if it belonged to Manoj. She switched it on out of curiosity. At that moment, Arjun received an alert that the con man’s phone had been switched on, prompting him and Ranjeeta to rush to the location. Ranjeeta soon realized that the location was none other than Sonam’s wedding venue.
As the wedding festivities continued, Megha danced with Manoj to the popular “Jumka” song. The dance performance was a hit, and as it ended, Megha handed the phone she had found to Manoj. Surprised, Manoj asked how she had come across it. Megha explained that he had dropped it in Sonam’s room. However, Manoj was upset that she had switched it on, as he had been trying to keep a low profile. Megha apologized, and Manoj, softening, also apologized to her, explaining that he often received calls from Georgia but was trying to focus on Megha and the family during the wedding. The revelation left Sonam and her family in shock as police officers quickly apprehended Rajveer.
Sonam, in disbelief, protested, insisting that Rajveer was not a fraud. Megha, confused and concerned, questioned Arjun about the evidence against Rajveer. Sonam’s father also defended Rajveer, trying to make sense of the situation. However, Arjun calmly explained Rajveer’s true identity, revealing that Sonam’s father should be thankful for the timely intervention that saved Sonam’s life. With no other choice, Sonam’s father had to accept the reality as the police took Rajveer away. Surendar, another family member, demanded an explanation from Ranjeeta, who supported Arjun’s actions and left without further elaboration.
